You may have noticed that you’re now being charged a sales tax on your Corganic order, whereas you haven’t been charged in the past.
This is because nearly one year ago, the Supreme Court ruled that out-of-state retailers must collect sales tax on internet sales.
Given the federal Supreme Court ruling, Corganic is now required to charge and collect state taxes from customers in certain states where Corganic either has a physical presence (i.e., employees, offices or distribution locations) or where Corganic maintains a significant market based on the amount of our sales and/or transactions with customers (subject to state-specific rules).
We hope this information helps explain the new sales tax, and we thank you for your understanding and support. If you have further questions, we are happy to help.
