Why is L. plantarum omitted in GutPro™ Infant?

L. plantarum is omitted in GutPro™ Infant because L. plantarum is a very potent strain that increases the potency of the formula.  Because we wanted the infant formula to be less potent than the original, we did not include it.

Customers with worries about D-lactate production may also prefer the omission of L. plantarum as it is does produce a small amount of D-lactate (although it is important to remember that it does balance out with the production of L-lactate - http://organic3.com/d-lactate-free-probiotics/).
